How Will Chrome 84 Update Affect YOU?

AdMaven’s Insights On The Recent Chrome Updates And Their Effects on Push Advertising

While Google Chrome’s recent updates had a strong impact on the online advertising industry, there is one ad model that was significantly affected. As native push notifications became a key component in publishers’ ad income, the latest Chrome updates created a major impact on those important revenues.

Started gradually from February, Google launched new updates in their Chrome browser version regarding the push notification usage and activity. Those limit the publisher to show the push notification offer. Which payment method is best for me?

Choosing the right payment method for you will mostly depend on your personal needs as a publisher, as well as your geographic location. For example, if your priority is receiving fast payments, good alternatives include Payoneer, Paypal, BTC, or Paxum over a wire transfer.

Remember that different payment companies have different fee policies that are beyond our control so you might want to be selective to minimize these costs. Since not all countries accept all payment terms, we have included a wide range of alternatives so all publishers worldwide can get their payments on time.

Some of the fee policies for some of our payment methods to take into consideration:

  • PayPal: we don’t charge any fees, but PayPal might charge a 3%-5% fee, depending on the country of origin, PayPal account type, and amount.
  • Payoneer – we don’t charge any fees.
  • Wire (bank transfer) – standard $40 fee for bank transfers.
  • Bitcoin – no fees charged, but we will initially send a $1-$5 test payment before transferring the full amount. 

Can I review earnings for each of my sites separately?

Often, publishers own more than one domain. For these instances, we developed an easy reporting solution in our dashboard. Simply go to the report section, and select a site from your portfolio in the site name filter. You can then click on the site’s name with the specific ad type and date range. That’s it, you’ll have the earning stats you need for your desired domain. 

It is possible to view your total revenue for each site along with multiple tags under them. These results will help you improve the monetization across your portfolio of sites. Make the most of our dashboard by filtering by site, placement/s, and date ranges. 

Use your “Publisher Reports” to extract and generate your daily revenue stats. Whether you need to review yesterday’s stats, the last 7 days, the last 30 days, this month, last month, or a custom time range in which you can extract data from the exact dates that you need – using multiple tags simultaneously to filter the data.
